I'm a freelance web designer living and working in Lichfield, Staffordshire. I have 3 years of experience in web development for business.

I develop predominantly in HTML, CSS, PHP and Java, but have a good working knowledge of many different web technologies.

I first entered the into the world of computing back in 2000 when I started a Computing Science degree at Staffordshire University. I was initially interested in hardware and computer maintenance, but very soon moved over to software engineering and web design, or "The dark side" as some would call it.

After graduating for staffs Uni, I joined the IT department at Towergate Risk Solutions in Telford as a web developer. Here I was involved in the design and redevelopment of a number of web sites including TruckQuote.co.uk and NoFussMiniBus.com. This gave me two years hands on experience with business critical websites. It also gave me a good understanding of Pay per click advertising and affiliate marketing.

After two years at Towergate I decided that it was time to move on to pastures new. In October 2008 I joined the Police Mutual in Lichfield as a development programmer. With PMAS I work on intranet applications written in ASP, VB.net and Ajax.

In the last year i have also be pursuing this venture which is why I suppose you are here!
